Want to support the UP-STAND movement? There are so many ways to get involved!
We love to collaborate, so if you have an idea or a skill, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
We have previously partnered with Queens Knits to create our cup cozy line, Silly Reggie to produce a "baby bump" greeting card, Bergen County Doulas on our line of tanks and tees, D.d. Zhang on our initial text pin designs, Chelsea Lane White to design our graphic pins, and Emma Cason-Pratt to design our business signage. We are always looking for new ways to spread the movement.
Purchase our goods or services.
You can support the UP-STAND movement by purchasing our awareness items for yourself, a friend, or business, and using or suggesting our services. We personally invested in UP-STAND because we believe in its mission, and it operates based solely upon our sales. Each purchase you make sustains the work we’re doing.
Spread the word.
Grow the movement by including us in a resource guide, shouting us out on social media, or asking your favorite businesses to display our signage or talk with us.
We’ve been promoted by The Doula Project, Downtown Women OBGYN, Love Child Yoga and The Pregnant New Yorker, and featured in a variety of publications. Would you like to include us in a resource guide or link to us from your site? Yes, please! Email email@example.com for more information or to let us know.
Please follow us on social media to share our latest stories and updates, or post your own photos and tales and tag #up_standmovement. We love to see our products and services at work for you!
Support businesses that promote accessibility.
When establishments display our UP-STAND signage or consult with us to encourage an environment that is supportive of customers in need of accommodations, they reach a larger audience and are able to bring in more business.
UP-STANDing Businesses are noted for their friendliness to clientele who are looking for a place to frequent that is sensitive to those with special considerations. You can see our signs displayed at Caffino, Il Fornaio Bakery, and Café Via Espresso, as well as in the office of Assemblymember Aravella Simotas; Brooklyn Bagel has donated coffee and bagels at our events.
Go in and thank them for leading our movement to create accessibility for all!
We organize and participate in community events and health and wellness initiatives.
If you join one of our community events, we often donate products to volunteers, so come out!
