Want to support the UP-STAND movement? There are so many ways to get involved!
We have previously partnered with Queens Knits to create our cup cozy line, Silly Reggie to produce a "baby bump" greeting card, and Bergen County Doulas on our line of tanks and tees; we hired D.d. Zhang for our initial text pin designs, Chelsea Lane White to design our graphic pins and lactation signs, and Emma Cason-Pratt to design our priority seating signage.
If you have an idea or a skill, please email us at email@example.com!
Purchase our goods or services.
You can support the UP-STAND movement by purchasing our products for yourself, a friend, or business, and hiring or suggesting our consulting services. We personally invested in UP-STAND because we believe in its mission, and it operates based solely upon our product sales and service revenue. Each purchase you make sustains all of the other work we’re doing, including advocacy, awareness campaigns, and community events.
Spread the word.
Grow the movement by including us in a resource guide, shouting us out on social media, or asking your favorite businesses to display our signage or hire us to consult.
We’ve been promoted by The Doula Project, Downtown Women OBGYN, Love Child Yoga, MOMally Parenting, and The Pregnant New Yorker, and featured in a variety of publications. Would you like to include us in a resource guide or link to us from your site? Yes, please! Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to let us know.
Please follow us on social media to share our latest stories and updates, or post your own photos and tales and tag #up_standmovement. We love to see our products and services at work for you!
Support businesses that promote accessibility.
UP-STANDing Businesses are noted for their friendliness to clientele who are looking for a place to frequent that is sensitive to those with special considerations. You can see our priority seating signs displayed at Caffino and Café Via Espresso, as well as in the office of Assemblymember Aravella Simotas; a list of businesses participating in our Breastfeeding Friendly Astoria Initiative can be found here.
When establishments display our UP-STAND signage or hire us to create an environment that is supportive of customers in need of accommodations, they reach a larger audience and are able to bring in more business.
Go in and thank them for leading our movement to create accessibility for all!
We organize and participate in community events and health and wellness initiatives.
If you join one of our community events, we often donate products to volunteers, so come out!
